Memories of Michael during the Image is Everything! The Hollywood Make Over

Katina LeKerr the stylist we are working with during the Image is Everything! The Hollywood Make Over was just working with Michael on wardrobe for his upcoming tour.

We had not shared this with the dancers as it was so cool and we wanted it to be a surprise.

Unfortunately, MJ passed but Katina has some great memories of Michael that she will share during the program with the Image dancers.

Summer in L.A. Photo Shoot

Congrats to Lee Cherry, our Summer in L.A. photographer who will marry long time sweetheart Scarlett, who is one of the stylists during the SILA shoot. Much love to them both and we look forward to working with you this summer.

Lee Cherry is photographer to the Pussy Cat Dolls, Jenna Dewan of Step Up, Brian Friedman, the Taluega brothers and many more stars.

The photo shoot includes professional hair and make up, the shoot featuring a few looks and changes of clothing, a CD with all of the photos taken and 2 final prints, 8 x 10 size, with name at the bottom. One of these prints will be a headshot and the other an iconic dance shot.

At previous photo shoots, Carmit formally of the Pussy Cat Dolls has dropped by for a meet and greet and a chat. This year we have a top agent coming in and other guests TBA.

Photos are a dancers tool of the trade. What a great opportunity to train with the hottest photographer in the business.

The photo shoot is a part of both the Summer in L.A. the Dance Intensive and the Hip Hop Intensive.

We saw many talented dancers and a decision will be made asap, by next week on the 4dancers selected. This is for a Winners commercial and facebook video.

The commercials and videos will be shot in Toronto on July 14 and 15.

The names of the dancers will be posted as soon as they are available.

wow, what a week.

Ed McMahon died this week. I grew up watching this man on Star Search. I was inspired to dance and get into the business by this show as well as by Fame and Debbie Allen.

Farah died yesterday. I also grew up watching her on Charlie's Angels and looking at her famous poster of her in a red bathing suit that my brothers had in our basement.

Then the shocker of all, Michael has a heart attack and died. I loved MJ growing up. I was maybe in grade 7 and worshipped the guy. I learnt to do the moon walk and do some of his moves. I never did get to see him live.

In 2001, Matt Carroll, a dancer who I scouted and booked on an Aaron Carter music video, was selected from that video to tour with Aaron. He was able to perform at the Michael tribute in NYC in 2001.

The legends live on and so do we so we should take advantage of life and dancing, loving and also being inspirational to the world around us.

Audition for urban and specialty dancers for TV Commercial and Video

TV Commercial and Face Book Video for Dept. Store is looking for amazing male and female dancers from across Canada.

Acro dancers and other dancers who can do tricks and specialty skill performances as well as Urban dancers - Hip Hop, B-boys/B-girls, poppers, lockers, krumpers etc.
Great personality and unique fashion sense a must.

15 - 21 years old, all ethnicities.

Audition is on Monday June 29 from 11 am - 4 p.m. in downtown Toronto. If you are outside of Ontario, you can audition by submitting your video to us for consideration.

If you auditioned for us on June 24, please do not re-submit yourself. Call backs for dancers seen on June 24 will be called out in the next day and dancers will be seen again on Monday.

Must be available to work on July 14 - 16. Will only be 1 of these dates for a few hours. Pays $700

You will be featured on a 10 second TV commercial and 3 minute Face Book video.

This job will be much better than being a dance extra in a dance film. This is a great opportunity to showcase yourself and your dance skills.
